Characteristics of high pressure blind flange

  1. Sealing mode: The core of high-pressure self-tightening blind flange is a unique new type of metal-to-metal seal, that is to say, it relies on the elastic deformation of sealing ring lip to form a seal, which belongs to hard seal; and then a strong rigid body is formed by the combination of stiffeners of sleeve, jacket and sealing ring, so that the strength of the connecting part is much greater than that of the pipe mother.   3. Bending resistance: A large number of tests show that the blind flange will not leak or loosen when it is subjected to large bending load.   4. Compression resistance: In normal pipeline applications, high-pressure self-tightening blind flange will not withstand overload compression; when the high-pressure compression load occurs, the maximum load on the high-pressure self-tightening blind flange is determined by the ultimate strength of the pipeline.
